New Tovertafel Experience at KoKoBe Café: A Win for Inclusion
A successful fundraising campaign by the Dinslaken municipal services has brought the “magic” of the Tovertafel to the Lebenshilfe Dinslaken’s KoKoBe Café, marking a win for senior living activities and community life enrichment in Dinslaken.
With the Tovertafel, everyone—including employees and local residents—can experience purposeful play. By interacting with high-quality light-projected games, such as virtual football and smashing colourful paintballs, users can improve their motor skills and interact with others through play in a safe, joyful and accessible environment.
This initiative was made possible thanks to generous donations raised during the Lebenshilfe Dinslaken’s annual campaign in 2024. After seeing the positive impact of the Tovertafel at their Claushof residential facility, Lebenshilfe Dinslaken now aims to bring this technology to all its locations.
Thanks to the Tovertafel and its interactive games, the KoKoBe Cafe is set to remain a hub where people with cognitive challenges can play together, connect and enjoy for years to come.
