We are going on a trip and that means: packing your luggage. But what do we actually bring with us? The list of items that need to be packed appears on the table. The players must work together to remember all the items. After that, the suitcase opens and the items shown earlier must be dragged into the suitcase. The right choices contribute to the group’s confidence. Are the items correct? Then the holiday can begin!
Make the game more fun
- Discuss where the players used to go on holiday. What did they bring with them?
- Do the players need more time to take a look at the items on the list? Pause the game.
Level 5 games focus on the part of the brain that controls executive functions. Executive function is responsible for many skills, including planning and decision making. Note: level 5 games are too challenging for people in the middle and late stages of dementia.
