It’s autumn and the table is covered in golden leaves. Players are intuitively invited to use big arm movements to gather the leaves into a heap, discovering the ladybirds hiding underneath. The soft rustling sound brings a feeling of being outdoors, and the surprise of the ladybirds keeps players focused and engaged.

Tips

Make the game more fun

• Hand out a small dustpan and brush so players can really sweep the leaves.
• Ask if anyone used to rake leaves at home. A simple way to start a conversation.
