The Tovertafel Aims to Improve Quality of Life for Veterans at LISVH
The Long Island State Veterans Home (LISVH) has taken an important step to enhance the quality of life for its residents by introducing two Tovertafels, thanks to funding from local Lions Clubs and partner organizations. These interactive game consoles will bring moments of joy, movement, and connection to veterans living with cognitive challenges, supporting both their emotional well-being and social engagement. For over three decades, LISVH has been committed to providing not only excellent care but also meaningful, fulfilling daily experiences for veterans and their families. This donation reflects the community’s shared dedication to that mission.
