    Solutions for common problems

    Have you been having problems with the Tovertafel and are the solutions below not working? Or do you have questions about its use? Then please contact the service department.

    The Tovertafel does not switch on or does not display an image

    1. Check whether the plug is plugged in properly and the wall socket is live.
    2. Check whether the power switch on the Tovertafel is turned on.
    3. Check whether the LED indicator is illuminated. If not, the unit does not have power.
    4. Check the batteries of the remote control.
    5. Check for an audible beep within moments of switching on the unit. If you do not hear a beep, please contact the service department.
    6. Check whether there is a light in the lens a few minutes after you’ve switched on the unit. Note: do not look directly into the lens.

    The Tovertafel has no sound

    Check whether the plug is plugged in properly and the wall socket is live.

    The projected game partially falls outside the table surface

    Check whether the playing surface is set correctly according to the step-by-step instructions in Chapter 6. Or watch the online instruction videos.

    The projected game falls mostly outside the table surface

    Check whether the Tovertafel unit has not changed position compared to when it was installed. Make sure the connector plug of the unit faces the centre of the table. If necessary, turn the Tovertafel unit around following the step-by-step instructions in Chapter 10.

    The Tovertafel does not respond properly to hand and arm movements while playing

    Is there anything obstructing the motion sensor? Check if the sensor is adjusted correctly according to the step-by-step instructions in Chapter 7, or watch the online instruction videos.

    After a while, the Tovertafel switches off automatically

    Note how long it takes before the unit switches of by itself. Contact our service department with this information.
