Creative Brand Strategist

By 2030, Tover — creator of the Tovertafel — aims to create 10 million moments of happiness per day for people with cognitive challenges. To achieve this, our products must remain reliable, intuitive, and truly joyful to use. Every update, improvement, and release should deepen our mission. We’re looking for a Creative Brand Strategist to shape how the world experiences the Tover brand. Your role is to develop bold, distinctive ideas that express who we are and why we exist. It is about creative thinking and brand direction, turning vision into clear concepts that internal teams and partners can bring to life. You understand that play is serious business and you know how to communicate that in ways that are memorable, human, and culturally relevant.

About Tover

At Tover, we believe play is essential to dignity. Our magical Tovertafel games bring moments of joy to people living with dementia, intellectual disabilities, and other cognitive challenges. What looks like play is something deeper: connection, movement, and meaningful engagement.

We are pioneers in this category and we intend to stay that way. By 2030, our ambition is to create 10 million minutes of purposeful play per day in 2035.

Our brand reflects who we are: warm, authentic, slightly unconventional, and unafraid to challenge how care is traditionally seen.

About the role

We’re looking for a Creative Brand Strategist to shape how the world experiences the Tover brand.

Your role is to develop bold, distinctive ideas that express who we are and why we exist. You translate our purpose into campaigns, concepts, and brand activations that resonate globally.

This is not a production role. It is about creative thinking and brand direction, turning vision into clear concepts that internal teams and partners can bring to life. You understand that play is serious business and you know how to communicate that in ways that are memorable, human, and culturally relevant.

This role requires a different kind of marketer:

  • You don’t wait for a brief,  you help define it.
  • You have a clear point of view on what great looks like, and you’re comfortable challenging others to get there.
  • You’re not here to execute campaigns yourself, but to create the ideas and direction others can bring to life brilliantly.

What you’ll work on:

Your work spans three areas: brand activations, strategic partnerships, and brand voice.

Brand Activations

  • Develop bold activation concepts that bring the brand to life, for our team, our partners, and the outside world.
  • Translate ideas into clear execution plans: storylines, scripts, briefs, and project structures others can run with.
  • Act as a brand guardian: everything you shape reflects our tone; warm, authentic, premium, and a little unexpected.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Identify and develop partnerships with organisations, influencers, and collaborators aligned with our purpose.
  • Define the creative direction: concept, tone, format, and channels.
  • Create strong briefs and concept outlines that enable excellent execution.

Brand Voice & Thought Leadership

  • Work closely with our CEO Hester, to define clear positions on topics that matter, from systemic gaps in care to the realities of people living with cognitive challenges.
  • Identify where Tover should show up: podcasts, events, campaigns, and media.
  • Turn strong viewpoints into compelling concepts that others can bring to life.

What we’re looking for:

You likely bring…

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a creative strategy role, ideally within a creative agency.
  • Strong concept development skills,  you turn brand challenges into clear, compelling ideas.
  • The ability to translate creative thinking into structured briefs, storylines, and plans.
  • A sharp instinct for brand voice: you understand nuance, playful vs. flippant, bold vs. reckless.
  • Experience with partnerships, influencers, or brand collaborations.
  • Strong stakeholder skills; comfortable working with leadership, creatives, marketers, and external partners.

Most importantly: you connect with our mission and understand that play can be serious business.

What we offer:

  • A unique role at the intersection of medtech and serious games.
  • A competitive salary: €3,750 – €4,250 gross per month (full-time).
  • A talented, driven, and genuinely fun team.
  • A fast-growing international company with short lines and real ownership.
  • 25 vacation days (full-time), plus travel reimbursement, pension, and vacation allowance.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • And most importantly: the chance to contribute to a mission that creates 10 million minutes of purposeful play per day in 2035

We’d love to see how you think. Apply by sharing your portfolio and one bold activation idea for the Tover brand.
