About Tover
At Tover, we believe in purposeful play. We see how moments of play can change the rhythm of a day every day. A smile. A shared laugh. A small connection between people that might otherwise not happen. These moments matter, especially for people living with cognitive challenges and those who care for them.
We build technology that makes those moments possible.
Tover started as an academic research project exploring how interactive play could improve the lives of people with dementia. Over the past 10 years, that research grew into a health-tech company. Today, our Tovertafel — an interactive projection system — is used in more than 10,000 care organisations around the world to spark engagement, connection and joy through play.
We are based in Utrecht and have grown steadily, building the company step by step. With the support of Karmijn Investments, we are further expanding internationally and bringing purposeful play to many more people.
Our ambition is simple and ambitious at the same time: achieving 10 million minutes of purposeful play every day by 2035.
The role
As Head of Finance & Operations, you strengthen the foundation of Tover and help guide the company through its next phase of growth. You work at the intersection of strategy and execution: translating ambition into structure, bringing clarity to decisions and ensuring the organisation can scale in a healthy way.
Your responsibilities include:
- Guiding Tover’s financial strategy as we further expand.
- Strengthening supply chain, inventory management and production planning.
- Building a modern, scalable finance function.
- Using data and insights to support decision-making.
- Partnering with the leadership team on business cases and long-term planning.
- Managing working capital and financial structure.
- Acting as financial counterpart for investor Karmijn Kapitaal.
- Leading Finance (incl. Legal & IT) and Operations (incl. Production, SC&P, Service & Support).
What you bring
We are looking for someone who thrives where strategy meets operations.
You bring:
- Experience scaling technology companies, ideally combining hardware and software
- Strong leadership skills and operational discipline
- Experience working with investors and scaling beyond the bootstrap phase
- Understanding of international expansion, preferably in healthcare
- Curiosity, energy and a genuine connection to Tover’s mission
