Game description

Mindset

Every player has a game tile. In the center of the table the players see a question about feelings or social situations with possible answers around it. They have to place their tile in the answer square. The chosen answers light up and a why question appears. This gives the players the chance to understand why they chose their answer. This brings up personal stories and teaches players to listen to each other.

Tips

Make the game more fun

  • Have the players reflect on their own answer: “Would you do it differently next time?”
  • Let the player explain how they feel in a situation. For example: “What makes you happy?”

Level

Level 5

Level 5 games focus on the part of the brain that controls executive functions. Executive function is responsible for many skills, including planning and decision making. Note: level 5 games are too challenging for people in the middle and late stages of dementia.
